SOMERFORD GROVE ADVENTURE PLAYGROUND
Park Lane Close, Tottenham, N17 0HL
Park Lane Close is off Park Lane, behind Spurs football ground. Easy parking, but move cars by 12 noon on match days to avoid clamping.
Two hours of autism friendly family fun in a spectacular adventure playground.
A chance for children of all ages to play and relax and for parents and carers to meet. There are indoor and outdoor activities for all ages with large climbing structures and huge swings, trampoline, computers, art activities, table football, little ones area, sandpits, and much more. Also coffee, tea, newspapers plus fruit and squash. The Haringey Autism lending library will also be available most sessions.
This is a play session organised exclusively for parent/carers who have a child with autism or Aspergers and for their siblings. There will be 5 playworkers on site and a number of volunteers to lighten the load, but parent/carers must stay on site and are responsible for their own child at all times.
Please sign in when you arrive and wear a name badge. Also please let your children come in clothes that can get messy, dirty and, on hot days when the water sprinklers get turned on, sometimes wet and sandy!
Our project has been funded by the Kirschel Foundation. New project manager Justine Ragany. Session leader Despina Moutafis.
