Haringey Autism has put in a bid for finance to set up an autism specific software library/computer club for our children at the Village Club.
The good news is we have been awarded a grant of £7000! and the London School of Fashion has kindly donated some computers.......
- GET READY!!!! IT’S COMPUTER CLUB TIME
- STARTING ON NOVEMBER 7th, EVERY TERMTIME FRIDAY EVENING – FROM 4.30 TO 6.00 PM at The Village Club, 27 Alexandra Gardens, Muswell Hill, N10 3RN
. For map and buses see Meetings section.
- The computer club is finally here! The tables are assembled and eight computers are on them. Initially we are going to aim computer club at
8 – 13 year olds accompanied by a parent and see how it goes. The children will be playing a mixture of educational and fun computer programmes, with snacks, drinks and bingo and other games.
- Parents or carers do need to stay, though having set your child up on his or her computer, we hope many may find themselves able to escape with a tea or coffee to the back of the room. Places are limited so please call Julia on 020 8889 8422 ASAP to book your space. Many thanks to Emily and Fiona at NLPAC for the kind offer of free space for the club.
- If other parents of children who are not part of the computer club would like to return or borrow CD-Roms from the library, you may also drop in at computer club times to do so, and have a coffee and a chat at the same time.
